Thank you so much for featuring me as I’m glad you find my readings helpful. And shout diet, oh yes diet will make a huge difference with your health and I am glad you are healing.
My goals for this year. I chose two words for the year instead of a resolution.
Harmony. This year I will choose directions and goals that resonate with me. I will strive for coherence rather than incoherence in my energy. I will seek out nature when possible and be in it. I will practice to the best of my abilities the tenets of Reiki, and be harmless instead of harmful. I will choose curiosity instead of confrontation when possible.
Gratitude. I will cherish the good things I have and that come my way. I will appreciate my health and enjoy my life. I will use mindfulness to notice small parts of each day that are wonderful and let tomorrow take care of itself. I will continue to journal my gratitude.
I see so much of my husband, George, in your "drinking days" accounts. I hope that one day, his drinking days will be past tense as well, even though our marriage will likely be long-over... but that's up to him.
> My "Intention Word" is Acceptance. I signed up for an online art journaling course that will reflect this, as well as daily life happenings (and satisfy my 'artsy-fartsy' side!) :)
> I'm reading "The Untethered Soul" by Michael Singer. It offers terrific advice to stop resisting negative emotions, and accept them through meditation and mindfulness, which, in turn, helps us to let them go. As someone who endured two decades of a verbally abusive alcoholic I had plenty of negative thoughts about everything! Eventually I found peace and enjoy reinforcing what I've learned with books, videos, and like-minded people.
I wish you much strength and determination as you continue your own journey to good emotional and physical health!
I'm definitely putting that on my reading list! I would like to better accept the negative rather than avoid it.
Do you ever wonder if our generation is predisposed to enduring abuse as long as we do? I certainly hope that our shared experiences help younger generations recognize and escape from abusive situations more quickly than we did.

I look for your readings every day!
Thank you! I’m getting them out from M to F!
Thank you for the endorsement!
